Environment

InStyle Products ltd. are very serious about the environment and environmental issues.

Within our processes there are various procedures we can follow that mean we adhere to being environmentally friendly.

We re-use the packaging sent to us by our suppliers. This, in-turn means that less packaging is produced as the manufacture of packaging is bad for our environment.

Even down to the finest detail. The packing in our despatch department is full of air, as opposed to the polystyrene chips that many use.

Even the couriers that we use are as environmentally friendly as possible.

DHL Express UK has identified its most significant impacts on the environment as; vehicle emissions, waste, energy and environmental incidents.DHL has set specific objectives and targets to manage and improve its environmental performance in these areas.

What do TNT do? They are developing new 'greener' vehicles and fuel e.g. hybrid electro-diesel vans and bio-diesel fuel trial. Reducing energy consumptions levels e.g. driving economically, switching off equipment when not in use. Reducing pollution e.g. disposal of waste correctly.

Recycling materials. Reuse scrap paper/envelopes. Conserving water. Using renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and hydroelectric to provide us with 15% of all our energy needs.

City Link is continually improving and promoting sound environmental practices. They believe that environmental protection is a strategic business issue and an integral part of their corporate strategy in providing business services.

Their environmental objectives include: Reducing waste and re-using or recycling materials where appropriate. Liaising with their customers and suppliers to promote sound environmental practices in the selection, use and disposal of all materials used in their business and services. Reducing energy consumption through the sensible energy management of their buildings, equipment and vehicles. Reducing or where possible avoiding pollution of air, land and water. Encouraging the development of good environmental practice by all their employees.

We think its important to walk through the green door.
